- Ein Relief [reˈli̯ɛf] ist eine künstlerische Darstellung, die sich plastisch vom Hintergrund abhebt, meist aus einer Fläche oder einem Körper heraus. Das Relief steht als Kunstform zwischen der Bildhauerkunst und der Malerei.
